When they called me and said I had been cast, the first question I asked was ‘Did John Krasinski get the role of Jim?’ and they said yes. And I talked to John later and he said the first question he asked was ‘Did Jenna Fischer get the role of Pam?’ So we were sort of career soulmates from the beginning- even from the audition we hit it off.
